Our farm is just 5 minutes drive from the village of Kastelruth. Situated in the middle of fields and woods, it is the ideal place for a holiday.

The farm, called Zerundt, was first mentioned in 1520 and at this time belonged to Ulrich Dosserunder and consisted of house, stable, fields, pastures and woods. During the years, the farm has changed owners 18 times. In March 2006 we, Walter and Judith, took over the farm from my father Richard. Renovation work was carried out in 2005 and all the holiday flats were turned into comfortable one and two bedroom modern flats and we added a cosy lounge and a playroom for the kids. Today the farm has approximately 9 hectares of fields, 4 hectares of woodland, a garden, 40 cows, calves, a dog, pigs, cats and many other small animals (guinea pigs, rabbits, pony etc). On the Seiser Alm we have rented 10 hectares of pasture that are mowed every year at the end of July. Our farm is just above Kastelruth (called Oberdorf), about 2.3 km from the centre of the village 1200m above sea level. It is an ideal starting point for walks being situated in the middle of fields and woods. |
